More Google Street View coverage from China!

The Google Street View team recently sent its cameras into a few major tourist spots in China to get a 360-degree view of the scenery for this year’s Lantern Festival. This year, Google added three fresh sites in Shandong Province and Hong Kong.

“SOSO, a division of Chinese company Tencent, has introduced last week more coverage to their Street View service, include a large area of Tibet. Now you can tour the entire Lhasa city, well into the Potala Place, explore the holy Namtso and Yamdrok lakes, or even all the way to the northern base camp of Mt. Everest, or on the Friendship Highway or the Nepali border.”
